Child safety workshop and book launch for childrens book on child protection19th August 2016 7pm
This workshop will be focusing on how do we protect our children in the unsafe enviroment of todays world. Primarily it will be focusing on child sexual abuse protection but will also look at all areas of abuse.
Come along and learn how to empower our children to protect themselves, teaching them that they are valued and their innocence is precious.
The launch of the Brave Little Bear, Authored by one of the founders of At The Ark Inc is a book aimed towards 3-8 year olds to equip them to know what to do if 'bad' things do happen in a sensitive way. This book opens chanels of conversations between safe adults and children that will open up question on how to keep their bodies safe and who to trust.
